Janice D. Erridge, 64, of Crystal and formerly of Ionia, died Tuesday 
afternoon, December 5, 1995 in Montcalm County.  She was born December 11, 
1930 in Ionia, the daughter of Forest and Golden (Ward) Hackett.  She 
graduated from Ionia High School and married John Erridge in 1948.  She had 
been employed at Chrysler Trim Plant for 17 years and was the President of 
U.A.W. #1402.  She and her late husband owned the Northside Party Store in 
Ionia before retiring.  She was an avid bowler and an ardent knitter.

She is survived by two sons; Douglas (Charlene) Erridge and Gary (Pamela) 
Erridge, both of Iona; four daughters: Judith Ciganick, Paula (Robert) Nummer 
and Anne Rusnell, all of Ionia and Theresa (David) Holcomb, of Morley; 12 
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Wayne) Kenyon, of 
Ionia; and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband on 
December 28, 1994.  

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Cook Funeral Home 
with Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating.  Interment 
will be in Balcom Cemetery and visitation will be at the Rich St. Chapel on 
Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Memorial contributions 
may be made to the choice of the family.
