Mildred B. Esch, age 84, of Perrinton, passed away Monday, October 18, 2004, at 
her home.  Mildred was born June 21, 1920, the daughter of Leon and Bessie 
(Dougherty) Kochensparger.  She married Arthur Esch on June 8, 1940.  Mildred 
was a dedicated wife and mother.  She loved to cook for family and was a good 
seamstress.  She was also a member of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur; a son Arthur F. (Mary) Esch of 
Hubbardston; three daughters, Rosemary Randall of Remus, Rebecca Krouse of 
Nashville, and Virginia (Dennis) Erickson of Ashley; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-
grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; three step great-great-
grandchildren; and a sister Jennie Ludwick of Muir.  Mildred was preceded in 
death by her parents, grandson Brian Randall and a sister Olive Peterson.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church 
in Perrinton with Father Jules Spleet officiating.    Interment will be in St. 
John’s the Baptist Cemetery, Hubbardston.  Visitation is 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 
p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Dodge Funeral Home in Middleton.  Memorial 
contributions may be made to Carson City Hospice.
