The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, July 15, 1952

Mrs. Ruth C. Esham, 50, 533 West Main street, died at 1:15 a.m. at the Ionia 
County Memorial hospital, two hours and fifteen minutes after she was admitted 
there.  She had been ill for the past four years.  She was born on January 20, 
1902 in Keene township.  Her husband died in December 1945.  

She is survived by six children, five daughters and one son: Mrs. Florence 
Wright, Mrs. Beulah Herron, and Mrs. Myrtle Bayly, all of Ionia, Mrs. Patricia 
Luff of Goldsboro, Md., and Mrs. Betty Inman of Passonburg, Md., and the son, 
Jesse Esham, of Ionia.  Also surviving are two brothers, Robert Munger of 
Ionia and Roy Munger of Sparta, and one sister, Mrs. Martha Rowley, of Ionia.  
Mrs. Esham had nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Myers funeral home.  
Interment will be in Easton cemetery.
