Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 21 Dec 1945

Jesse L. Esham of 306 Rice street died Thursday, December 20, at the 
Osteopathic hospital, Grand Rapids.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Munger, of Ionia; six children, 
Mrs. Florence Wright of Ionia, Mrs. Myrtle Bayly of Ionia, Mrs. Patsy Luff of 
Greensboro, Maryland; Mrs. Betty Inman of Ionia, Jesse L. Esham, Jr., of Ionia 
and Miss Beulah Esham of Ionia; three brothers, Reuben Esham, Manuel Esham, and 
Herman Esham, of Parsonsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Perdue of Parsonsburg 
and Mrs Lilly Brittingham of Pittsville, Maryland, and five grandchildren.

He was born June 21, 1901 at Parsonburg, Maryland.

Funeral services will be held from the Myers funeral home Sunday at 2:30 
o’clock.  Interment will be in the Easton cemetery.
