Ionia Sentinel Standard, 29 Aug 1931

John Eshelman, 56, died Friday evening at 9:30 following a long illness. 
Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Paul L. Stewart at the home in South
Ionia Monday afternoon at 2:30, and burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.

Mr. Eshelman was a native of Ohio, but came to Ionia in 1903 and has resided
here since.

Surviving is the widow; two brothers, David and George, of Ohio, and a sister,
Dilla, of Ohio.
