Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 18 Feb 1949

Mrs. Clara Essenburg, 67, died Thursday night at the Ionia County Memorial
hospital after being a patient for the past six weeks.  Born September 20, 1882,
she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Granzow.  She has resided in Ionia
county 30 years and lived at the present farm in Easton for 12 years.  Mr. and
Mrs. Essenburg were married 46 years.

Surviving are the husband, Jacob; a brother, Henry Granzow of Anchorville; a
niece and a nephew.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. from the Myers funeral home.  The
body will be taken Monday to the Will funeral home in New Haven where services
will be held Tuesday, February 22, at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in the family
lot in Oakwood cemetery, New Baltimore.
