Death of Zenas Eastabrook

The death of Zenas Eastabrook, who has been a sufferer for some time from
cancer, occurred this morning at four o’clock at his residence, 637 East
Lafayette street.   

Mr. Eastabrook has long been a resident of Ionia and resided at the home where
he died for many years.  He was a veteran of the Civil war having served in the
128th Ohio Infantry.  He was a member of the Borden post.  Besides a widow he
leaves two daughters one of whom is Mrs. James Monroe, of Grand Rapids.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 1:30 o’clock at the Presbyterian church
Rev. W.K. Spencer officiating.  Mr. Eastabrook was 75 years of age.  The W.R.C.
is requested to turn out for the funeral which will also be attended by the
G.A.R. post.
