Burial will be in Muir cemetery under the direction of Burns and Gunther funeral home of Carson City. The body will be at the Burns and Gunther funeral home until 1 p.m. Friday and then taken to Muir. He died Tuesday at 9 a.m. in St. Lawrence hospital in Lansing where he had been a patient for two weeks after being transferred from the Clinton County Memorial hospital in St. Johns. Mr. Estep was born in Portland township the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Estep. He had been a resident of the vicinity of Muir for 60 years and attended school there. He also attended Ferris Institute at Big Rapids. At the time of his death he was postmaster of the Muir post office which position he had held for 23 years. He was married June 4, 1917 to Beatrice Dick. Mr. Estep was a veteran of World War 1 and was a member of the American Legion post in Ionia. He was also a member of Lyons Lodge F&AM and the National Association of Postmasters. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice, one son, Cecil, and two grandchildren, all of Muir.
