Wave, Thurs. March 14, 1968 Margaret E. Estep Passes Away Margaret E. Estep, 53, route 1, Woodland, passed away Tuesday morning at Pennock Hospital, Hastings, after a long illness and had been admitted to the hospital, Sunday evening. Born April 3, 1914, at Woodland, daughter of Jesse and Arlie Spindler. She graduated from the Woodland school in 1932 and from Manchester College, Manchester, Indiana, in 1936, and taught school at Vermontville, Sunfield, Haslett and Woodland. She married Richard Estep in December of 1941, and spent all her life in the Woodland area. Mrs. Estep was a member of the South C=Woodland Church of the Brethren and Woman's Study Club, Woodland. Surviving are her husband; 2 daughters, Nancy and Jennie at home; her mother, Mrs. Arlie Spindler of Hastings and a sister, Mrs. William (Katherine) Bower of Battle Creek. Funeral services were to be held Thursday (today) at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel. Rev. Ira Metzker officiating with burial in Woodland Memorial cemetery.
