Son of Mrs Julia Estep of this Village. Leaves Wife,Brothers and Sister. The body of Don Estep, the oldest son of Mr and Mrs Byron Estep, was brought to Lake Odessa early Monday by Wortley & Baines, undertakers. Don had died soon after retiring Sunday night of an acute heart attack with no warning to his wife who was with him. However, it is said he had recently had two or three attacks of heart trouble a few weeks before. Don Estep spent his school days in Lake Odessa where he made many friends. He left Lake Odessa as his working engagements required, but visited the home folks whenever convenient. His father died bout two years ago but his mother keeps the home where the body was brought Monday. He leaves the widow, his mother, two brothers Thad of Traverse city, George of Cadillac, and a sister Mrs Marie Burdick of Maple Grove, besides other relatives and friends. He was 46 years of age. The funeral was held at he Congregational Church Wednesday afternoon. Rev. E.H.Hunphrey, the pastor officiated and Mrs.Humphrey and Mrs.Thelma Stauffer sang two numbers. Burial was at Lakeside cemetery.
