Lyons Herald, 17 Mar 1910

Caroline Etson, wife of R. W. Etson, died at her home in Collins March 7th 
after a week’s illness.  She was born in Wheatland township, Mecosta county, 
July 14, 1868, and was married to R. W. Etson October 25, 1887.  Her remains 
were taken to Remus, where a large circle of friends paid their last tribute to 
one they loved.  She was laid at rest in the Catholic cemetery.

Mrs. Etson was a true, loving wife and mother.  She believed that whosoever 
believeth in Him should have everlasting life.

Deceased is survived by a husband and eight children, who have the sympathy of 
the entire community.
