          CHRISTINA EUPER PASSED AWAY DEC. 12
                                   -------------
  FAITHFUL MEMBER OF THE EVANGELICAL CHURCH.
                  DEVOTED MOTHER AND FRIEND.
                                   --------------
   Christina Eckardt was born in Woodland township, August 12, 1863, and departed
this life December 12, 
1937, at the age of 74 years and four months.  She was one of ten children born to
Mr. and Mrs. Adam 
Eckardt.
   June 5, 1889 she was united in marriage with Martin Euper.
   At an early age she was converted and united with the Evangelical church to which
she remained a faithful 
and active member as long as her health permitted.
   She was a very devoted mother and a kind neighbor and friend.  No sacrifice being
too great for her to make 
for any cause she believed worthy.
   During her lifetime she was very appreciative of any kindness shown her.
   Her husband and two sons Lloyd and Clarence preceded her in death several years
ago.
   Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Howard Hewitt and Hulda Euper, and one son
Theodore; one grand child 
Jeralee Esta Euper; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Ostroth and Mrs. Andrew Finkbeiner, and
many other relatives and 
friends.
   Those from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Sigmund Klager, Edwin
Klager, Mrs. Carrie 
Sautter, Mrs. Eugene Betts,Mrs. Erwin Klager of Bridgewater, Mich.; Rev. E. C.
Finkbeiner, Levering; Mr. and 
Mrs. Andrew Finkbeiner, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Finkbeiner, Mr. and Mrs. James Clark, Mr.
and Mrs. Wilbur Klump, 
Mrs. Tena Finkbeiner, all of Middleville; Mrs. Sarah Ostroth, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie
Adams, Maple Grove; Miss 
Olive Henderson, Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Shetterly of
Ionia.

   We wish to thank our friends and relatives for the fruit and flowers, and to
those who so kindly offered their 
assistance during the illness and death of our mother.
