John W. Euvrard, 65, of Portland died May 23, 1994, in Lansing.

Mr. Euvrard was born in Juddsville Township Aug. 12, 1928, the son of George and
Florence (Kerby) Euvrard.  He worked in the construction business for 30 years
and was also employed at the General Motors Proving Grounds before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; four daughters, Paulette (Douglas) Huhn of
Portland, Carol (James) Cambric of Eaton Rapids, Sally Averette of Sierra Vista,
Ariz., and Jenny (Mike) Corey of Inkster; three sons, Charles Euvrard of
Portland, John (Linda) Euvrard of Belding, and Steven (Teresa) Euvrard of Lyons;
19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, David Euvrard of
Farmington Hills; and two sisters, Mary Shafer of Owosso and Nora Banas of Corunna.

Services were held May 26 at the Gorsline-Runciman Neller Chapel, with Rev.
Elaine Buker of the Portland United Methodist Church officiating.  Interment
followed in the Portland Cemetery.  Casket bearers were Josh Euvrard, John
Haddix, Scott Huhn, Mark Huhn, Joe Huhn, Andy Huhn, and Brian Kiter.
