Evans, prominent Danby township farmer, had been overcome by a heart attack and died suddenly while in the woods cutting stove wood with his son, Floyd. Funeral services were held from the residence Sunday and burial made in the Sebewa cemetery. Mr. Evans was 58 years of age. He was born in Sebewa township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Evans. Thirty years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Gibbs, who also passed away suddenly three years ago. Besides the son, two brothers and one sister survive. They are Mrs. Frank Aves of Lansing; Burt and Joseph Evans, of Sebewa.
