Ionia Weekly Standard, 9 Dec 1904

John M. Evans passed away at 9:30 o’clock on Wednesday, at the home of his 
daughter Mrs. C.H. Gott, 114 Lytle St., at the ripe age of 92 years.  There will 
be a prayer service at the home at 8;30 o’clock on Friday morning, and the 
remains will be taken thence to Vergennes, Kent county, for interment.
