The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, September 12, 1934

Services for Bruce Evans, 76 years of age, whose death occurred at the Ionia 
county infirmary Monday, will be held from the Hall funeral chapel Thursday 
afternoon at 2 o’clock, with Rev. John Youngs officiating.  Mr. Evans had been 
a resident of Ionia county for a number of years, and is survived by one 
sister, Mrs. Minnie Letson, of Sebewa.
