Ionia County News - Thurs. Dec. 5, 1946


Fred W. Evans was born in 1886 and passed away in Portland, Ind. Saturday 
evening. The funeral was held Tuesday evening at 7:30 in Portland, Ind. and 
from the Morris Funeral home Wednesday, December 4, with burial in Easton 
Cemetery. He leaves a widow, Grace, in Portland, Ind. a son, Edward in South 
Bend, Ind., three brothers, Frank and John in Portland and harry in Bellaire, 
Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Otis Butcher and Mrs. Mike Huey from Portland.
