Ernestine E. Evans, 72, of Matherton died July 4 at her residence.  Born March
28, 1915, in Potterville, she was the daughter of Henry and Aurilla Bacon
Silvernail.  She was a lifelong resident of Matherton.

Surviving are her husband Loren; three daughters, Sharon Schmitz of St. Johns,
Harriet Durbin of Crystal and T. Ann Cunningham of Hubbardston; three sons,
Terrence J., Michael and Harvey, all of Matherton; and 13 grandchildren and six
great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Loren, and a daughter,
Judy.

Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in East Plains Cemetery, the Rev.
Ray Grienke officiating.  Arrangements by Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.
