SHARON L. EVANS
Sharon L. Evans, age 72 of Matherton, passed away Jan. 30, 2016 in Lyons. She was
born July 18, 1943 in Carson City, Michigan. the daughter of Evart and Ilabelle (Labar)
LaBarr. Sharon married Terrance Evans Nov. 9, 1963 in Carson City.  She was active with
Ionia Commission on Aging, where she enjoyed playing music and making many lifelong
friends. Sharon had a kind generous heart and always put others before herself. She loved 
spending time with her friends and family, going to the casino, knitting,
crocheting, reading and watching movies. Sharon is survived by her son, Terry (Kathy) 
Evans II of Pewamo; brother Bill (Gail) LaBarr of North Carolina; sister, Marcia (Romie) 
Clark of Alaska; beloved grandsons, Terrance Evans III, (Abby Sevenski) and Austin 
Evans (Jordyn Cypher) and beloved friends Don and Doris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Terrance Dec. 12, 2012 and
sister, Patty Silvernail.

A Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Lake Funeral
Home in Ionia. memorial contributions may be made to Ionia Commission on Aging or Hospice of
