PORTLAND- Helen M. Evans, 75, of 206 Hill St., Apt. 7, Portland, died Tuesday, July 5, 1983.

She was born July 16, 1907, in Ionia County, the daughter of Peter and Mary 
Mohoney Jordan, and had resided in Portland for the past three years, moving 
from Bartlesville, Okla. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, E.W. Evans, who died in 1978.

She is survived by one grandson and one great granddaughter, Nicholas Pline and 
Lindsey Pline; and one sister, Marion Jordan of Portland. 

Rosary service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. from the Neller Funeral Home, 
with funeral mass scheduled for Thursday at 10 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church, 
the Rev. Martin Kurylowicz officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Ionia.
