Coroner Harry Myers of Ionia said Evans apparently had been dead for several hours. His death was attributed to a sudden attack of heart trouble. Evans car was seen parked in the yard of a farm owned by Mildred Ensworth about a mile directly north of the Evans farm at 3:45 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Evans was found dead in the car by Paul Bishop and Robert McRea, nearby neighbors. Evans had lived in Sebewa practically all his life coming to the township when but a small child from Bath where he was born.
