                             MICHAEL P. EVANS

CARSON CITY - Michael P.Evans, 48 of Matherton died Monday, at his residence.

He was born February 6, 1939, in Matherton, the son of Loren and Ernestine 
Silvernail Evans. He married Carolyn Hiner, and served in the United States Army 
during the Viet nam conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; two daughters, Christine Evans of  Ionia 
and Deborah Evans at home; one son Darwin at home; his father, Loren Evans of 
Matherton; three sisters, Sharon Schmitz of St.Johns, Harriet Durbin of Crystal, 
and T.Ann Cunningham of Hubbardston; two brothers, T.J. Evans, Matherton and 
Harvey Evans of Matherton.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the East Plains 
Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Schnepp Funeral Home 
in Carson City.

The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 p.m to 9 p.m.
