The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 27, 1946


Mrs. Fred Evans, 53, of Keene township was killed Sunday about 4:00 p.m. when 
she lost control of the car she was driving.  She was born in Easton township 
in 1893, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ward.

She is survived by her husband, Fred, her mother, Mrs. Anna Ward of Ionia; a 
brother, Hiram Ward of Mason; and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Gustafson of Ionia and 
Mrs. Bernice Erdmann of Milwaukee, Wis.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Morris 
funeral home in Saranac.  Interment will be at the Easton cemetery.  The body 
will be taken to her home Monday afternoon and will remain until Wednesday 
morning.
