Benjamin S. Everest, a life-long resident of Ronald died at his late home 
Wednesday night at the age of 85 years. While M. Everest had been in very poor 
health for a long time, he was seriously ill only a few days. His son, Charles, 
of Lyons has been helping care for him. Mr. Everest was a Civil war veteran, and 
a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. The funeral will be held at the late 
home Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, sun time, conducted by Rev. Holcomb.
