Mrs. Dora Everest, 74, resident of Lake Odessa, who for the last six moths has 
been living in Lakeview, died Tuesday morning at 12:50 after a long illness.  

She was born March 10, 1880 in Odessa township, the daughter of Adam and Louisa 
Fender and lived most of her life in the Odessa community.  She was employed in 
the cafeteria of the Lake Odessa Community school from 1936 to 1940.

Her husband, Harry, a contractor and carpenter, died in 1931.  Surviving are 
three daughters, Mrs. Louisa Triebel of Flint, Mrs. Vera Beebe of Bellevue and 
Mrs. Thelma Johnson of Smyrna, one son, Raymond of Lakeview, and five 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Pickens 
funeral chapel in Lake Odessa with the Rev. Harold Homer of Bellevue 
officiating.  Interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
