Lake Odessa Times - October 19, 1905
          DEATH AT WOODBURY

   Charles A. Everest, the only child of Harry and Dora Everest, died at his home in
Woodbury Oct. 11, 1905, 
after 48 hours of sickness of intestinal trouble, aged 3 years, 5 months, 4 days. 
The funeral service, 
conducted by Rev. I. N. Crites, was quite largely attended from the U. B. church. 
Burial in Lakeside cemetery.  
Because of his bright and happy ways, and loving smiles all had learned to love him
and he will be greatly 
missed by all.

   Dearest Charlie thou hast left us,

      Here thy loss we deeply-feel:

   But 'tis God who has bereft us.

      He can all our sorrows heal,

    Yet again we hope to meet thee

       When the day of life had fled--

    Then in heaven with joy to greet thee.

        Where no farewell tears are shed.

 

                  CARD OF THANKS

   We wish to express our sincere thanks to the many kind friends for their tender
words of sympathy, the ones 
that remembered us with flowers and the choir for their singing and especially do we
thank the Board of 
Supervisors and county officials for their floral offering for our dear little son
and only grandchild.
