Past Thirty Years. Myron E. Everett Dies Following An operation at Pennock Hospital. Leaves Widow, Son, Daughter. Funeral Monday. Myron Edwin Everett, a jeweler, one of the business men of Lake Odessa was taken to Pennock hospital about a week ago where he underwent an operation for relief from gall stones. For several years his health had not been good, but he hoped for relief from this affliction. However, the system succumbed and he passed away Thursday evening at the age of 64 years. Mr. Everett was married in 1898 and located in Ionia. In 1910 he came to Lake Odessa and established his jewelry store where he has been a fixture for 30 years. He was a member of the Lake Odessa lodge 395 F.& A.M. and had been interested in civic enterprises until failing health caused his retirement. After his wife died, he married Miss Rose Grueler of Fowler who survived him. Besides the widow he leaves a son Nelson, and a daughter Mrs. Rowland Curtis, who lives northwest of Lake Odessa; a brother I.F.? Everett of Haslett; two sisters, Mrs. Jesse Megeryen? of Olympia, Wash., and Mrs. Mamie Hugson of Grand Ledge, and five grandchildren. The funeral was held at the home of the daughter Monday afternoon, the Rev. C. E. Thies, pastor of Central Methodist church, officiated and burial was at Lakeside cemetery.
