Lake Odessa Wave, 17 Jul 1958

Nelson L. Everett, 57, of 3358 Pearl St., Warren, Michigan, passed away 
Wednesday at a convalescent home at Pontiac after a month’s illness.  He was a 
tool and die maker and moved to the Detroit area from here in 1940.  He spent 
his early life here and married Bernice Barkdull in 1922.  Nelson’s parents 
were Myron and Ella Everett.

He was a member of the Lake Odessa Masonic lodge.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Spencer of St. Clair Shores, Glen of 
Hollywood, Florida, and Roger of Warren; five grand children and one sister 
Mrs. Rowland (Fannie) Curtis., Lake Odessa, nieces and a nephew.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 at the Pickens funeral chapel with 
burial in Lakeside cemetery.
