Lake Odessa Wave Thursday  October 7, 1948


SHERMAN EVERETT 69, DIED UNEXPECTEDLY
Sherman Everett 69, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon at his home on Jordan 
Lake Ave. He was a retired farmer, coming here from Illinois where he purchased 
a farm northeast of town but had resided in town for a number of years.

Surviving are two daughters Mrs Lois Jackson of Flint and Mrs Helen Eastman of 
Grand Ledge; two sons Dwight and DeWitt of Lake Odessa, a brother Mora of 
Illinois and fifteen grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 at the Pickens chapel with burial in 
Lakeside cemetery. Rev.Vernon Macy officiated.
