Harry Everett Leaves Many Friends. Beside a Devoted Family. Monday forenoon Harry Everett, a man who has lived and worked in Lake Odessa for the past fifteen years, passed away from enemia but his active disposition and strong will kept him in action until about two weeks ago when his strength failed and he took to his home. Mr Everett was a contractor and builder and found plenty of work in this town and surrounding country until the winter months came, when he was given a job as assistant engineer at the school building, which was next to his own home. Here he was faithful as long as he was ale to move about. He was deeply interested in giving his children an adequate education. He leaves a wife ad five children besides his mother and many friends to mourn his early departure. The funeral was largely attended Wednesday afternoon at the Congregational Church, Rev. G.J.Start preached and Mrs. Ena Armstrong, Mrs Vera McCartney and Messrs George Kart and Leon Gilson accompanied by Mrs L.T Gilson furnished the music. The pallbearers were, Chet Yager, Clarence Yager, George Roberts, Walter Brown, Floyd Gates and Melvin Ingall. Burial was at Lakeside cemetery.
