Ionia Sentinel Standard, 28 Dec 1989

Dwight Everett, 80, of Kalamazoo, formerly of Lake Odessa, died Dec. 24 at
Hillside Manor, Kalamazoo.  Born Sept. 21, 1909 in Dewey, Ill., he was the son
of Sherman and Sadie Wood Everett.  He attended Lake Odessa Schools. 

He is survived by a son, Raymond of Santa Maria, Calif.; two daughters, Shirley
House of Santa Maria, Calif., and Martha Carhan of Hilsboro, Ore.; nine
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Jackson of Flint and
Helen Eastman of Sunfield.  A brother, Dewitt, preceded him in death.

Private services will be held Friday at the family plot in Lakeside Cemetery,
Lake Odessa.  Funeral arrangements are by Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.
