Belding Banner News, 15 Apr 1925

Anna Schneider was born in Alsace-Loraine, France, on September 1, 1858, died at
Miriam, near Smyrna, on April 8, 1925 at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 8 days.

She was married to Peter Fabung at the age of 26 years, and in the year 1892
they came to Michigan and have made their home in this vicinity ever since.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, four brothers, one sister, and four
grandchildren.  Only one brother is living in this county, the others are in
France.

For the last four years Mr. and Mrs. Fabung have been keeping house for Michael
Kemp and it was there her death occurred.  She took to her bed on December 8,
1924, just four months before her death, and during her sickness the neighbors
and friends showed their loving kindness in many ways.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock, from St. Mary
church at Miriam, Rev. Fr. Jos. A. Maier officiating and burial was in the
cemetery there.
