Mr. Face was 74 years of age and one of the most active men of the township. His death shocked the entire community as none knew that he had the heart ailment to which his death was attributed. Mr. Face was a native of Clinton county, coming to Orleans with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William James Face, 72 years ago and had lived in the township since, spending the past 45 years on the two farms that he owns, the residence of one being within the village limits of Orleans. In stock he specialized in Ramboulette sheep and in crops he specialized in beans. Funeral services will be conducted at the Orleans Methodist Episcopal church Monday morning at 11 o’clock by Rev. H. S. Ellis. Burial will be in the Orleans cemetery. Mr. Face is survived by the widow, formerly Miss Edith M. Budd, to whom he was married 43 years ago; a daughter, Mrs. R. E. Allen, who lives across the road from the parents’ home; a son, Erma, of Orleans; two sisters, Mrs. C. W. Knight of Belding, and Miss Elsie Face, of Long Beach, Cal., and three brothers, Luther and Arba Face, of Belding, and Jay Face of Aberdeen, South Dakota.
