He was born of Gort, County of Galway, Ireland, December 18, 1835. At the age of 17 he came to this country and settled in North Plains township where he spent the remainder of his life. The deceased is survived by two daughters, four sons and two sisters, also 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; another daughter, Mrs. John Dolan of Sheridan survived him only a few hours. The funeral for Thomas Fahey was held Friday, April 23, at St. John’s Catholic church at Hubbardston of which he was a devoted member.
