The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, April 5, 1985
John Joseph Fahey, 73, of rural Hubbardston, died Thursday at his home.  A 
retired General Tire employee, he was born March 30, 1912, in Hubbardston, the 
son of Dennis and Mary Ellen McCabe Fahey.  He was married to the former 
Martha Herald; she died in 1956.  He was married to Grace Rogusky Fahey in 
1959; she survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Mary Belen of Lansing, Sheila Churchill of 
Fenton and Patricia Shaeffer of Portland; three sons, John and Robert, both of 
Hubbardston, and James of Lapeer; a stepdaughter, Martha McClintock of Fenwick 
and a stepson, John Rogusky of Ionia.  Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 
two great grandchildren; 13 step grandchildren and 23 step great grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be Monday at 11 a.m. from St. John the Baptist Church in 
Hubbardston, the Rev. Eugene R. Fox officiating.  Burial will be in the church 
cemetery.  Rosary will be said at the Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City 
Sunday at 8 p.m.  Visiting hours will be after 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral 
home.
