County News, Thurs., May 28, 1925
The funeral of Mrs. Emily Fancett, resident of Palo for more than a half 
century, who died after an illness of several months, was held Monday 
afternoon from the Palo Methodist church, with Rev. Holcomb of Greenville in 
charge. Interment in Palo cemetery. She had bee a life-long member of the 
Methodist church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fannie Sexton, and 
Mrs. Lillie Hutchinson of Edmore and three sons, Charles and Donald of Palo, 
and Lloyd of Newberry.
