PALO

William Fancett, living one-half mile north and 1 1/2 miles west of Palo, 
committed suicide by shooting himself through the head with a shotgun last 
week Thursday morning The charge entered the left ear and came out through the 
right ear, carrying nearly the whole of the contents of the head with it, 
making a sickening sight. No cause is known for the deed. The funeral was held 
from the M.E. church Sunday morning. He was born in England about 60 years ago 
and had lived in this country about 25 years. He was a quiet and peaceable 
man. He leaves a wife and six children.
