Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 4 May 1957

Mrs. Mabel O. Fancett, 61, died Friday morning at 4:15 at the Belding city 
hospital where she had been for the last three days.  She lived at 109 ½ West 
Main street, Belding.

Mrs. Fancett was born on May 5, 1889, in Ronald township the daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. George E. Curtis.  She had lived all her life in the vicinity of Ionia 
and Belding.

In 1914 she was married to Vern Randall.  She was later married to Lloyd 
Fancett who died at Newberry in 1945.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Glen Harrington of Holly; one son, George 
Randall of Belding; two sisters, Mrs. Abby Curtis of Belding and Mrs. Kit 
Clardy of East Lansing; two brothers, George and Ray Curtis of Grand Rapids, 
three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Paul L. Stewart at the Stone-Kauffman 
funeral home Monday afternoon at 2:30.  Interment will be in the Woodard Lake 
cemetery.
