Ionia Sentinel Standard – Friday, 4 June 1886
Elizabeth Winifred, daughter of John Fanning died at the residence of James 
Fanning on West Main Street on Monday morning at 8 o’clock.  She had been ill 
for several months with quick consumption and was kindly cared for by Mrs. F. 
during her sickness.  The funeral was held at the Catholic Church on Wednesday 
morning.



Mr. John Fanning desires to thank the many friends and neighbors for their 
kindly assistance and floral offerings during his recent bereavement.  Friendly 
aid and sympathy at such times are appreciated more than words can tell.
