She was aged 65 years. The funeral will be attended on Friday morning at 10 o’clock from St. John’s Episcopal church, at which she was long years a communicant. Rev. Dr. Thomas will preach the funeral discourse, the interment will be in Highland Park. ------------ The funeral service for Mrs. Eleanor Fanning was attended at St. John’s Episcopal church this morning, many mourners being present. There were present from out of the city: Mrs. Emaline McCall of Vernon, a sister; Walter Johnson of Battle Creek, a brother; Mrs. Emma Dafrees, Miss Libbie Whitney, Miss Anna Fanning, all of Chicago and all nieces; Charles Fanning and Charles Whitney of Chicago, and Seymour Johnson of Battle Creek, nephews; Mrs. William Tebbell of Smyrna, and Mrs. Marcy of Lyons, friends. The floral tributes were many and very nice. The bearers were from the membership of the A.O.U.W.: F. ???tedman, W.S. Bouk, J.T. Webber, and Abraham Engelman. The funeral discourse by Rev. Dr. Thomas was full of tender sympathy and rich promise, and the music was in full keeping with the simplicity of the service. The remains were given a resting place in Highland Park.
