Lake Odessa Wave - July 6, 1983
         MARIA FARHAT
   LAKE ODESSA - Maria Farhat, 75, 1432 Virginia, Lake Odessa, died June 29 in
Bodgett Memorial Medical 
Center in Grand Rapids
   She was born Dec. 30, 1907, in Lansing, the daughter of George and Rose Kelush
Duhar.
   She married Charles Farhat Oct. 17, 1950; he died in 1963.
   Survivors include four stepchildren, Sarah, Freda, Sam and Fred Farhat of Lake
Odessa; and four cousins, 
Helen Azzarella of Grand Rapids; James Kelush and Mary Jane Hill of Flint and Chris
Selzur of Long Beach.
   Rosary was held Friday at 7:30 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake
Odessa. Funeral mass 
was Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Edward's Church, with the Rev. Louis Baudoni
celebrat.
   Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
