Edson C. Farnsworth, 89, of Holt, formerly of Hubbardston, died December 16, 
2003 at a Lansing Hospital.  Mr. Farnsworth was born September 25, 1914 in 
Williamston, the son of Wales and Bessie Davis Farnsworth.

A retired Motor Wheel employee, he was an Army veteran of World War II, a 
member of VFW Post 4646, the 40 et 8, and a life member of the Walter T. Roach 
American Legion Post 182.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn West Farnsworth; special friend, 
Irene Dolton; and little dog, Charlie.  He is survived by his niece, Marie 
Farnsworth; cousins; stepchildren, Jane West of Lansing, Judy and Richard 
Dahlgren of Potterville; several step-grandchildren and step-great-
grandchildren.

In accordance with Mr. Farnsworth’s request, cremation has taken place and no 
services will be held.  Arrangements were handled by Field & Leik Funeral Home, 
Dimondale.
