Lakewood News - April 27, 2013

Eaton Rapids, MI – Scott A. Farr of Eaton Rapids passed away April 20, 2013 in 
Lansing, MI after a courageous battle with Leukemia.

He was born September, 1, 1967 in Grand Rapids and was a graduate of Lakewood 
High School class of 1986. He went on after much training to receive his 
master’s plumber license. Scott not only enjoyed but was very good at his job 
which earned him the title of general foreman for John E. Green Company.

Scott was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed watching his favorite team, the 
Steelers, play football on Sunday afternoons.

He is survived by wife, Cheryl (nee Possehn); three children, Erik, Elana and 
Jason; mother, Joan Farr; brother-in-law, Tom (Julie) Possehn Jr.; sisters-in-
law, Christine (Tom) Wilson, Jeanne (Mark) Goosmann, Patricia (Ken) Huver, and 
Lori Possehn; mother-in-law, Katherine Possehn and many nieces and nephews.

Scott was preceded in death by grandparents, Earl and Bernice Sanborn; father-
in-law, Tom Possehn St. and brother-in-law Ron Possehn.

A memorial service was held Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the Liberty Church, 
Grand Ledge with the Reverend David D. Stephens, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer 
Institute or The Bone Marrow Foundation.
