Sentinel-Standard - Friday, Sept. 25, 1981

SARANAC- Kathryn Fase, 64, of 747 Paradise Park, Saranac, died Thursday in 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

The daughter of John and Laura Flynn Dawson, she was born in Lowell, May 11, 
1917. She had lived in the Saranac area for the past 25 years.

She was married to Henry Fase in Indiana in 1952.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Audrey) Kimble of 
Arizona; and six grandchildren. One son preceded her in death in 1956.

She is also survived by one brother, William Dawson of Lowell, and two sisters, 
Mrs. Bertha Bibbler of Lowell and Mrs. Geraldine Herald of Carson City. 

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Lake Funeral Home, 
Saranac, the Rev. Roland Smith officiating. Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery. 

A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society, in the care of 
the funeral home.

The family will be at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 
p.m.
