The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, November 4, 1932

Following a three-year illness, the last 10 months having been spent in bed, 
Mrs. Inez McArthur Faude died Friday morning, just eight weeks after the 
sudden death of her husband, G. F. Faude.  Funeral services will be conducted 
by Rev. F. J. Fitch at the home, 401 East Main street, Sunday afternoon at 
2:30 o’clock.  Burial will be in the Highland Park cemetery.

Mrs. Faude was born in Lewiston, N.Y., and came to Coldwater when a small 
girl.  She was united in marriage in Coldwater.  She had lived in Ionia 45 
years and in the house where she died 38 years.

Surviving are two children, Mrs. A. C. Colvin, who has been caring for her 
mother during her long illness, and a son, Claude M. Faude, of Kalamazoo.
