Ionia Sentinel Standard- November 21, 1975

GEORGE W. FAUST
George W. Faust, 80, of Carson City, died Thursday at the Ionia Manor.

Born September 20, 1895, in New York City, he was the son of William and 
Louisa Faust. His wife Marion, died July of 1975.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Carson City and a veteran of 
World War I, serving as a Corporal with the artillery in France. He was a 
member of the Carson City American Legion post.

He was a salesman for the Basic Foods Company retiring in 1967,

Survivors include a son, Wendell Pieffer of Hubbardston, 16 grandchildren and 
12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10 AM at St. Mary's Catholic church at 
Carson City. Msgr. Russell Passano will officiate and interment will be at 
Mary Knoll cemetery, Carson City.

Graveside services will be under the auspices of the Carson City American 
Legion post.
