Services Held for Mrs. Clarinda Fawley

Ms. Clarinda "Clara" Fawley, 87, of Clarksville passed away Friday at the Golden 
Acres Rest Home at St.Louis where she had been a patient about a year.

A native of Carlton township, she was the daughter of William and Margaret 
(Hecht) Brooks and had spent all her married life in Clarksville. Her husband 
Jay passed away 21 years ago.

Mrs. Fawley was a member of the Rebekah lodge.

Surviving are two sons Muri of Big Rapids and Carl of Clarksville; a daughter 
Miss Esther Fawley of St.Louis; two sisters Mrs.Gary (Elizabeth) Studt and 
Mrs.Glenn (Katie) Torrey of Lake Odessa; three bothers Dewey Brooks of Lake 
Odessa, John of Okemos and Charles of Woodland; six grandchildren and eight 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, 
Clarksville with burial in the Clarksville cemetery. Rev. Daniel Zook 
officiated.
