Lyons – Funeral services for Marina Faxon were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the
Estep funeral home, Muir.  Mrs. Irene Vance Moore of Lyons read the Christian
Science service.  Burial was in the Lyons cemetery.

Marian passed away Saturday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred E.
Faxon.  Marian had not been well for some time but pneumonia developed in her
recent illness and was complicated by a heart condition.

The bearers were J. Fremont Spaulding, Francis Peckins, John Spotts and F. D.
Hansbarger.

Friends from away were Mr. Faxon’s brother-in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. H. L.
Buller, Adele Thomas, Helen Staley, Marian Bestervelt, Mrs. Eddis Eldred,
Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Steele, Saginaw; Mrs. Robert Palmer, Orleans; Mr.
and Mrs. Louis Hoopman, Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Hansbarger, Mrs. N. Yonan, Ionia;
Edward Peckins, Portland; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Cook, Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs.
Frederick Vogt, Charlotte; Mrs. Elmer Cutler and Duane Cutler, St. Johns.

Mr. and Mrs. Faxon established a heart fund as a memorial to their daughter.
