Mrs. Grace D. Faxon, 91, of 254 Tabor St., Lyons died Saturday morning at the 
Ionia Manor after a lengthy illness.  She was born April 3, 1887 in Amsden, 
the daughter of Daniel and Marion Billings.  She married Alfred Faxon in 1905 
who preceded her in death in 1972.  

Mrs. Faxon was a former school teacher, life member and past president and 
past matron of Lyons Chapter of OES.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.  Preceding her in death in 1963 
was a daughter, Marion Faxon.  Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at 
Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir.  Rev. Mark Matter of Lyons United Methodist church 
will officiate.  Burial will be in Lyons cemetery.
