Margaret E. (Peg) Fears, 61 of 2568 Walnut Drive died Feb. 7 at Ionia County
Memorial Hospital. She was born March 14, 1925, in Ionia, the daughter of John
C. and Eva Bell Veazey Dilley and attended Ionia schools. She married William H.
Fears Nov. 17, 1950, in Ionia and was employed by Peschke Packing Co. and the
Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church
and a member of the church choir.

Surviving are her husband; a son, John B. Fears of Ionia; 11 grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Sidney W.
Russell Jr. and William J. Russell.

Funeral services will be held from Zion United to Methodist Church Wednesday at
3 p.m., the Rev. William W. Dornbush officiating. Burial will be in Balcom
Cemetery. The family will be at the Rich Street Chapel of Montgomery Funeral
Home Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and to 7 to 8:30 p.m. A memorial has
been established for Zion United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home.
